Lunsford has many lengths premade just call up barb and tell her the diameter and how long it needs to be from clip to clip. They will have something off the shelf within a mm or so. Theirs are the best USA grade 5 ti and it’s lifetime guaranteed.

Good to know, it’s an actual Lunsford pin so kind of surprised.

That is shocking, but they will give you a new one for it. I think you need to send it in but $3 shipping gets you a new one.

Eh, titanium isn't much stronger than tool steel, it's just lighter.

Jeez that is nuts. You wouldn't think it would bend up the pin like that on a drag car. I'm sure it probably launches hard but I'm guessing it's very light so I'm surprised at how it's bending the pins like that. What's the plan to prevent that now?

Just put another pin in and don’t flip it at the top end of the track.

LOL yeah I can see where flipped at the top end would do some major damage as compared to just off the line. I really gotta stop looking at this thread! I've always been into real drag/muscle cars and for the past year now I keep tossing around the idea of building an RC drag car because I love that 3pc Chevy II Nova body they came out with. I've held myself back from it so far but every time I look at yours it really gets me wanting to do one

Do it Steve it’s a blast, find a cheap SC10 roller any generation would do and build away. It got me into rc again so out came my trucks and now I’m doing both drags and clay.

Well last round of TNT at the track didnt go well with this monster she just couldnt make a clean pass. Finally figured out the issue, the damn ball diff kept loosening up the screw would not stay tight for more then a couple of feet with full throttle.

The fix, go back with the gear diff with some special sauce
