Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, it can be difficult to match the finish of plastic parts after cutting them. For these, I had to try and match the radius and then the finish. You have an excellent blend from original finish to the completed part. Very nice OEM appearance.
I've always had some difficulty in trying to get a nice finish on parts (nylon ish) after modding.
The flat/satin look is spot on. Media blasting?
And, will you or did you bond the two pieces or is it cosmetic?

The cf pieces are fit in very tight and then epoxied from underneath.
