I'm not sure how to embed videos, so you'll just have to click the links.
To embed you only take the last part of the youtube link behind the "=" mark and put it between the youtube 'buttons' after clicking on the youtube box above this box you are typing in. If you want to see what it looks like hit the "quote" of my post and see what it looks like under the link you provided or it looks something like this without all the spaces between the letters:
[ y o u t u b e ] V O M p e t 4 V c a o [ / y o u t u b e ]
All these posts are wanting me to go down and unbury my slot car table and pull out my stompers

This thread is awesome. I still have the orange blossom special and Bigfoot at my parents. My kids were playing with them a while back. How about air jammer bug scrammer and record breakers. I used to live for record breakers.

I love all the crazy retro stuff going on in these commercials. I remember chasing record breakers across parking lots for hours as they bounced off everything.
Not motorized but for craps and giggles, I've still got this van.

I think I ended up with a few during my slot car accumulating days. Some parts and maybe a few cars. Definitely had some track but had no idea what it was. Its funny how people like to make you pay the postage to clean out their closets and junk drawers when you win some stuff off of ebayRC10th wrote:Anyone have Darda cars?

Re: Random motorized stuff you had before RC cars/trucks!
Absolutely love stompers. Was huge into them when I was in 5th grade. I had a few of them that I would race against my friends in tracks we dig into the sandbox’s at elementary school. When I visited Warwick England in 1980 I found some rebranded as Trekkers made by corgi in a toy store there.
I still have my Jeep honcho from when I was a kid. I have collected a few more over the years. A few rare ones and some still sealed on the card. Of course I had to get a few of the Corgi branded trekkers. In addition to the stompers I also collect the Rough Riders motorized cars. Some sell for incredible prices and I should eventually get rid of them before their popularity dies off. I only have a few lame pictures of all of them. Their currently packed away in a box after I remodeled my garage a few years ago

I was a big stomper fan as a kid, but when I got the Animal truck with the claws that came out of the wheels, I thought it was the biggest baddest thing around. I had the black one with the yellow rollcage. I look at them now and think they look kinda cheezy, but amongst my toys bitd it was absolute king.

I had totally forgotten about Stompers. I recall that some of the local bars around my home town Illinois would even stage pulling and hill climbing contests for Stompers. So yeah, kinda cheezy but kinda neat too. They were a big deal bitd.
