Avid does similar ones.
Then there's the BK method (which is about grinding the top or bottom side that rubs) but it has never worked for me.

I vote for big bore springs as well. The traxxas (3768) spring cups are adequate, but I haven't tried Niki's. You can try winding some small dia shrink tube down the coil and fiddle it into position at the top to torque the spring off the body. I've had some success with this method, but my runners got big bore's.

Like harvey said you can wedge the spring with something to offset the rub. I used to use 3mm strips of that chassis protective adhesive wedged between the spring top and the collar on the opposite side of the rub to fix mine until I went BB springs.. The traxxas spacers are very cheap and with the lower ae BB cups it's real easy.. Good idea with the shrink wrap,much better than my old fix...
