Okay... so I may have been right earlier , that this was originally a Championship edition , 6001 kit. It has the offset non countersunk battery tray holes.
the original rear bulkhead & shock tower that was on it when I first got it was what lead me to think that from the start.
This might turn in to a CE build. I can swap out the rear bulkhead, shock towers for the newer ones.i already have the correct rims and front tires.
I will need to find correct shocks and the diamond shape nose plate too.
1 step at a time though. At least it's a roller now!
