Man that's awesome. Can't wait to see it with those wheels! They are sick!

What are your plans for mounting those front hex wheels?

unless he does something different, I imagine he'll do something like I did with my alloy build and use some inboard steering knuckles from the sc10. some anodizing might have to happen though.

A small update. I got the wheels modded and installed. I just used some hex adapters and drilled and reamed them out to fit bearings. You do the same to the rims and when you sandwich it all together it mates up perfectly for mounting. The rears were simple. Just hex adapters and mount. The rims I polished the outer lip on them for the two tone look. I also added a wing i made and some wing mounts I made as well. I installed lunsford turnbuckles that I turned gold using 7 9volt batteries and baking soda/water mixed. Pretty cool how quick that works. The ball cup ends are RPM white dyeable cups I dyed with rit golden yellow and they look more orange than anything else. But I am going to roll with it. Hopefully this week I will get the motor. I decided on a Tekin ESC with gold sinks. And futaba receiver and servo. I also found a set of vintage sanyo batteries that are all black with gold lettering. This thing is finally coming together. I have shocks. just waiting on some black shock springs.

small update here. Did some work on fitting the body. Used a dremel tool with a sanding wheel to get some really nice trim lines on this one. First time I have ever tried that. Worked great!

Figuring out where to put the cut for the rear shock tower was the hardest to figure out. when I doo another body I will put it even further back than I did
