well 1 good 2 bad. the assoc #9755 rear cva axle worked great and fit the losi wheel no issues. 2 bad well the 93mm dogbone still too short  and when fully down which i had a feeling was going to happen hits the nose support. as far as the wheel on the axle just have some bushing to take up the space, need to make a spacer like on the losi jrx buggies had. so looks like i need a 95mm. does anyone know if they make axles that long in other rc10 models????

plus still have to figure out what to do about the nose tubes issue  the only way i see it working is to raise the trans higher on the shock tower but really cant cause theirs no meat left to mount it?? hum or i can make a brace that attaches higher up to the shock tower and goes though the nose tubes. might not look great but might work.

something like this (just a thought) old battery strap but made out of fiberglass to mount the trans too. of course it would have to be bonded or screwed to the shock tower. just found this strip of carbon fiber going to attach to the shock tower and go around the nose tubes to attach the trans like the batt strap is kinda lol. just ordered a blk shock tower to match. more pics to come when reattached.

Have the nose tubes end at the tower (not protrude through). Think like the RPM chassis upper deck bolts to the tower.

You could then modify the bulkhead and drop the trans down lower to be closer to the proper angles needed.

I threw up a post on Facebook to see if anyone knew of list of lengths of all dog ones available from Associated. Nothing yet.

Watching this closely as I may need an assortment of sizes as well.

Good luck in your search.

search for 22t (TLR) bones, same 'head' as AE and they come in 94mm

well i made some headway today its been a long while. i got the frt trans mounted and fits well, just wish the frt tower was a solid piece cause still have to cut a slot for the belt and not sure how stong it will be after that. the 94mm dogbones i think should have been just a little bit longer. i had to put a spring on the frt axles so the dogbones fit better. if they were a tick longer it would be perfect, o well this truck isnt going to be run anyway lol. still have to cut the frt tower a bit for the belt, have to order a custom belt and bore out the frt spindles since the axles rub a bit on turning. i think it looks bad ass!!

Looks good but... Those front driveshafts remind me of the Revo shock linkages. They look like they are going to bottom out before the shocks do... I hope I am wrong.. but triangulation heh.

ya the frt shock compresses half way than the axles stop it from full compression :( o well iam sure theirs a better setup for this truck, but since its the first one maybe someone will come up with a better way in the future. for now it would work perfect on my shelf  :D
