Re: Tamiya F104W Lotus 79 Ronnie Peterson
More pics on the way.
I don't know what to say about F1 these days, with the V6 engines humming and all kind of strange regulations.
Team orders was a pain bitd as well. Often Ronnie got the order not to pass Mario in team Lotus even though he was faster.
I wish that ground effect and/or V8/V10 would be legal again, but I guess not.
Oh well! back to the build.
I'm currently working on Ronnie and his visor on the helmet. Pics to come soon.
Think all the trimming is done on the car body so soon paint applying.

I like that a lot. I think I might have to get one to match my Road wizard

Nice work. How did you do the visor? I might need to copy that...

Re: Tamiya F104W Lotus 79 Ronnie Peterson
Thanks guys
Oh! I forgot to mention that I added TB-decals (TBD15) to get that realistic look with JPS logos that doesn't come with the kit.
, I used evergreen sheets and plastic putty to create it and fixed it to the visor with tamiya thin double-sided tape.
The screws are AE #6613 idler gear screws.

Yes, well done - looks great
But people really need to see this stock version to understand how much you improved it
