I hereby officially forgive gamma for his terribly annoying signature :P

Thanks buddy , I will print the scans out and make a nice illustration pack for the jury.

With this point settled I should be able to give you all a sneak of my latest out-of-your-head project before the end of the week-end.

i also have one.it is said to have to be worked in as is does feel stiff at first for a ball diff.
i have the belt driven one.i paid 90 for it NIP off ebay.there is also another version by the maker hyperdrive which i have been searching for 3 years to find one.

yeah, as you said it needs to be used like 5-6 times before you can see what it can really do. do you have any pics of the hyperdrive stuff? imo 90 sounds good for a BIN, to have immediately w/o having to search for one. and nip thats sweet.

I bought a used one and think the diffballs have been replaced with some smaller ones, but the diff is certainly smooth enough.

Here's the sneaky peeky: still a long way to go and a lot will change for sure, but the concept is there and a secret body is waiting on the shelf already.

Mr. ED,
that looks clean, very interesting design... what is that?

i like the wheels too, is that the wheels you plan to run in the race?

Asso, it uses some parts from a kyosho circuit 1000 : like a tomahawk, scorpion, advance...
gamma, the wheels are the current size , but just old enough to have enough offset: when I tried modern wheels the tire scrubbed the arms to the point I couldn't mount them (even with the +10 mm tamiya hexes).
I have 1 set orange wheels : smaller size with older tires that fit also and look very well in place... not sure where it will go yet.

Well this was the peek, I opened a new thread for the continuing story

The RC10 belt drive trans was first available to sponsored drivers in late 1988.
