Superb car and will get one over the next year or soRC10th wrote:This was supposed to be a pre production sample before making the chassis available. It features the refinements in design learned from the prototypes. This car will ultimately get one of Jakes alloy chassis.
I have all the parts to assemble a NIX10M except for the donor car itself. I originally planned to race this car quite extensively, but not sure how quick or slow this thread will progress as I have other non-RC priorities at the moment.

Re: RC10th's NIX10M "The Pilot Car"
Here we have a finished NIX10M alloy chassis. I love the deep countersinking as all the screw heads are tucked up under and none protrude out the bottom, way easier to check tweak too.
Jakes chassis is definately a quality piece, nice, clean, and simple.
Thanks Jake.

Re: RC10th's NIX10M "The Pilot Car"
I thought I'd show a different NIX10M configuration, so here is a sideways shorty using Associated battery cups. It's amazing how much real estate the shorty frees up compared to the saddle. The local racers say sideways shorty is better than saddles, so we'll give it a try.
