got a little more done to this. i still need to get the trans internals for it yet. once the trans is together, and trim and paint a body, it'll be all done. :)

Speaking of black with white parts...very nice 8)

Anything special going in as far as the tranny goes?

nope, nothing special. just a new minty white stealth and black motor plate.

i might outfit this with a radio system too. it just depends what kind of "new" vintage stuff i can come up with.

if you look back at the first post on page one, you'll see that there was 2 sets of stealth holes in the chassis that i had fixed, figuring on using a 6 gear or an mip sp-1. but, i decided on using the stealth since i had one nip white case left with nowhere to put it, no new 6 gear stuff, and no extra mip's. and being as though it wasn't a virgin chassis, i didn't feel bad about opening a couple holes back up.

i've seen new fusion tubs go for $400+. used ones aren't that cheap either.

i think the fibrelyte carbon tub/noseplates cost around $300 usd, if they're still making them. i don't know.

very nice chassis.............

I think putting in an MIP Legend 4WD system in this car will be even better.......... :)

Nice work Jason,

I've loved the looks of those CF tubs. Some day, i'll try and get my hands on one, OR one of the repros that are out there.

Keep it up!

alright, i guess i'll re-update this thread after our issue on saturday took out the other one.

i finally got the trans together with all new parts, including the motor plate and felt gasket. also added a nip cf trans brace to go along with the tub. i still have to get a slipper setup for it, and trim up a body, wing, and the gear cover. i'm pretty sure i'm going to install electronics in this, too. i have some beautiful, period ko propo pieces that are beggin' to be put in something. :)
