That steering setup is an optional steering brace/rack that was offered for the '94. The full "kit" for this optional steering rack included a taller post to go on the right hand side, to connect to the top brace. The bottom piece changes the steering geometry a bit. Some combination of ackerman and bump steer, since the inner ball stud is pushed both outwards, forwards, and downwards. If you add spacers under the ball stud, such that it is only pushed outwards and forwards by the bottom piece, then the net effect should be more bump steer (high speed mid-corner steering) and less ackerman (less initial turn-in). I'd have to study mine more closely to be sure, though.

Lipo trays for 94,95, Pavidis? No grinding of posts, no drilling new holes, no shoe goo, no glue. Just mount in stock location, no worries. Click the pic for the photobucket.

I just got another 1 of these 94 style buggies. I'm pretty sure its a genuine Wcs or Pavidis edition. Will post pics soon. Its got machined arms and the wcs cutout chassis. What else should it have?

In very short - the 93 WCS has kickup chassis 2X3 battery slots, aligned, "94" front end and machined/cutdown aluminum rear end with old style diffcap. Consider Yourself very lucky if it´s a WCS.

The 95 WCS and "Pavidis" is the same car, unless You´re talking about replicating the actual buggy Pavidis drove.

Member Dual, has constructed a timeline which can be found as a sticky (top section) in the Yokomo section.

Heres some kinda bad pics. Just enough time this morning to show the arms and chassis. This buggy uses the 94 style plastic bulk heads front and back.

I havent taken it completely apart yet. Cant tell right off about the arms. They may be molded with the cut outs, or machined. No sli[pper clutch, but it does have the hardened drive pullies.

Top deck does have provosion for an adjusting turnbuckle in back. Does have the carbon camber brace plate in back. Wheels are black, 4 holes for screw retention.

That´s a nice 95 WCS/Pavidis Yoke.

Now the hunt begins for the AE shocks and the missing slipper parts :)

Im pretty sure this one will not need any new parts, and possibly only a couple small bits from the other 94 in this collection. Of course, it will be shelfer used,, so not mint or new,, but should shine up nicely. Dang, these models are pricey!

I think there´s a slipper on that layshaft? From outer to inner : spurgear mounted on the outer slipperplate with 2 small screws, then slipper pad/ friction pad, last the inner slipperplate/rearpulley

Yes it´s pricey - not many around. But compared to the price of a new team spec. 4wd buggy (Yoke, AE, Kyosho), it´s not that bad :)

I do agree about the price being reasonable compared to top shelf new. The 22-4 has recently dropped what,, 200 bucks from intro price?

But anyway,,,, glad to have won this car. I bid based on the thought it had a slipper setup,, as the pics were unclear. So, the spur is a screw on variety, but the spur mount is unfortunately just a locked affair,, no slipper. On the other hand,, I was figuring it to be a standard 94,, but extremely pleased to see its a bit more!
