could not fit the production slipper assembly on the prototype shaft cause its a little tight and wont slide on, so going to leave off for now.

well guess not to much interest on this truck since no responces, but they are both all done minus the slippers on the trans. one day ill get em to fit. the first pic are some extra prototype parts that came with the truck. the bare chassis is going to stay as is just cause it cool cause it shows the start of the truck. the second truck in second pic i had to use a losi xxt rear shock tower and modify it to work with the trans case since the production one was way different with different mounts. well hope u all enjoyed this rare peice of losi history.

forgot to show one more thing. since only one of the prototype truck had a full complete front end i had to modify the production front end to fit the truck. 1st prototype, 2nd production, 3rd production part fitted to prorotype chassis. just had to cut the ends off and it fit perfect.

Looking good, that looks like it was a lot of work to get the parts to fit. looks to me like these trucks were made some were between the XX and the XXX as some parts of both are on them.

I like these types of builds. Cool to see someone preserving something that was almost thrown away.

well i found 1 sticker sheet going to leave the body clear so u can see the chassis etc... now just need 1 more sticker sheet for the other truck. use #8's on the sides since this chassis is marked #8.
