Welcome over here to a sane refuge from all those kids who seem to spend more time flaming each other than any proper discussion and wouldn't even know that not all Associated buggies have plastic chassis.

I'd agree with the others, get a T4 for your girl. Just try keeping watch on ebay for spares for a 10T. Remember she is guaranteed to break something and with a T4 you can easily order spares. Those of us who run these old car usually end up with one or two extra cars just to make sure we have a supply of spares for when we break them.

And it's a lot cheaper to buy the RTR version.

About the chargers:

I would stay away from the black case MRC super brains. The buttons will crap out on you in no time.

Keep an eye out for Novak millenium (or pro), LRP competition or sport models, CE pitbull chargers. All do really well with NiMH cells and you can usually find them for a reasonable price on the bay. Of course if you go lipo, you will need one that specifically charges those cells.

I bought a Triton for my planes and it takes care of all my battery woes from park flyer's to my son's battery powered Raptor. I admit there are times a get a little frustrated with it, but for the most part, it does the job and I ain't paying another hundred bucks for another charger.
