i will definetly be make some, i will make a prototype, see what kinda demand there is to make them, and go from there. we are probably looking at $125-150, which might be lower, but i wont know till i get started and see what we are working with. they might be alot cheaper.. ill know once i make the first template one.. ill start a new thread in here to see what the interest is

here's what ill do, ill make a new thread here in two days or so with a prototype ill try and whip out this weekend.. ill try and keep the cost low and lets see what we can do here to make it cheap and look really good..

as far as powdercoating and finishing.... i will probably leave that up to you guys or i can get it done if there is enough demand and directly turn the cost over to you, i got a quick estimate of about $30-40 per chassis to give it a THICK powdercoat.

Now the advantages and disadvantages of powder vs. paint is that.
- Powder is a bit tougher and will cover up any flaws on the joints etc, good for a runner.
- Paint will make repairs MUCH easier because if it happens to break, i can easily fix it with paint and only strip off a little area to rebraze.
- Paint will wear off on a runner easier (im going to attempt to make a lexan undertray for this car) to protect it.
- Powder finish looks great, but paint with primer>color>clear coat can look just as good easily

Hopefully i can get it all done this weekend, we will see how it goes.

I would like to see it. It will make a really nice beach running for me!

probably in here to link it and in the Buy/Sell/Trade forums is where ill start the thread. if i can get a commitment of at least 10 chassis, i will probably be able to sell another 8-10 on ebay... ill start off estimating costs on 20 chassis..

I will go with whatever the majority agrees on; regarding the finish and colour, but would definitely prefer to buy it ready-for-use.

I also hope you will include the drilling for a stealth.

Yeah I'd like a chassis that can be fitted with a Stealth tranny too...
