Re: Pre rere "Faux" Worlds Car
Well the only thing local is an 8th scale track so I might just have to slap in the strongest brushless set up I can get my hands on and launch this puppyscr8p wrote:now install some electronics, charge up a battery, and hit some gnarly jumps.
Or
just put some vintage electronics in it and launch it on the shelf

Re: Pre rere "Faux" Worlds Car
Thanks for the compliments guys, it took a lot of gathering parts to make this happen the way I wanted.
I know, I had to peel away from working on the house long enough to build it. As for the shell, I'm going to go with the SS shell I got from you (mrlexan's).Charlie don't surf wrote:About time she came to life! What's the plan for a shell Dave?

Okay, so since I'm opting out of the brushless set up
I fished these out of my stash for it instead. I think these should be period correct enough for it but if I'm wrong someone please chime in, thanks.

Perfect Dave! The last run of the M1 was 1994, so your right on target.

Great, any knowledge on the servo? I believe Jason confirmed with Kent one time that it was used in the early 90's but that's all I have to go on.

I cant believe how cool this build came out...i have to say im not a buggy guy but this just made my jaw drop.
I love the two tone and the period correct items.
I would be scared to run it....you should have built TWO!!!!
Awesome build so far!
