They are RPM arms or Trinity as they both made them, i bought a set but turns out are not as strong as the original, these flexed.

Yes ive been using the vts and originally started with the b4 slipper. Vts makes the car easier to drive and ive found it dramatically quicker compared to the b4 slipper

That car is coming along very nicely! I'm liking the black & dark blue (anodizing & dyeing) color scheme. I bet that car will drive great! 8)

Thanks, your builds inspired me to anodise as many parts as possible.
The SWB Turbo Mid SE-X will be underging a few changes to include gold velvet shocks (medium length on the front) and a few more gold anodised pieces.
Also after getting this build to this stage I have decide my all carbon Ultima needs everything possible anodised gunmtal grey

So here is a pic of the Mid with a genuine LWB Mid undertray.
I was comparing it to the ZX-S undertray and it seems the ZX-S undertray whilst based on it is slightly shorter, and ditto for the body compared to the LWB Mid, will have to be very careful when I cut the ZX-S shell and undertray out to make sure get them sitting perfectly on the Mid

Still this is missing

And to install that I needed to trim this piece to clear both the steering post and also the nut holding the ball joint onto the steering parts

And this is how she looks with the belt cover on, I went for some stainless screws there too for consistency

Thanks guys

I did have a custom graphic in mind but John Miller never replied when I wrote to him about that and the Optima Box Art paint job I need done

I haven't painted any shells myself since getting back into RC and only ever painted one back in the day (My Mid SE was the only new buggy I ever purchased the rest were already painted s/h) so if I go for something more conventional, which would just be some form of translucent blue with a backing color, it will be after I paint a couple other shells first

That looks awesome Dan! :D Havn't been on here for a while and just saw this thread.

When John did my bodies he was a bit inconsistant with emails, keep trying, he's probably just a bit busy.

Thanks Keith I'm really pleased to finally have it all come together after all this time.
Is there more than one email to contact John on? If so is one more likely to yield a response?

Just checked my email contacts and found two for Jon.

[email protected] and [email protected]

I'm not sure if one is more effective than the other.

Thanks for passing those on

The plan, if I can get in touch with John, is to use a ZX-S shell on this mid and have a custom airbrush job of the Grim Reaper with a scythe painted on the shell
