That is pretty awsome. So, can we also go with basic 53-54mm pin to pin as a fitting length?

Nice work, props for your determination to find & make something that works properly. You ended up making a hybrid CVD that will function well. I went through the same time-consuming process of mix-and-matching parts, weeks & more weeks spent searching for the parts, asking questions that mostly went unanswered, discovering an HPI header card typo that's on ALL their axles with that part number and resulting in me getting 3 of them all having the wrong measurements that didn't match the package or internet product specs...but when you finally source a full assembly that works, it's like making a new discovery and is very rewarding. 8) I went through all that with CYANide and my buddy's Buffalo, so I can imagine your relief at finding a solution.
Completed projects: CYANide Onroad Optima | Zebra Gold Optima | Barney Optima | OptiMutt RWD Mid
Gallery - Coel's Stalls: Marui Galaxy & Shogun Resto-Mods | FrankenBuff AYK Buffalo | 1987 Buick GNX RC12L3
