I am the sure the stealth has a end cap . Felt gasket ? With sealed bearings is it needed ? Mid motor RC10 doen't see that happening with b5m do out .

I face palmed too when I saw this. Someone else had assembled the transmission for photos and the press release was never passed by me to review. It's always frustrating when careless mistakes are made.

The release was also missing the announcement of the new molded gear cover, that can accommodate the B4 topshaft.

Tim, do you know when the outdrives will be available separately?

Hopefully, very soon. But I am not certain.

Worst case is they are available when the kit starts shipping, but rest assured there should be plenty to be able to stock up on!

Nice job turning the trans brace around. I would have loved to be in on that conversation...

Great job bringing these parts out. Now to not worry about putting power into the car and breaking a part that cant be replaced.

Ryan, ready for some Vintage Mod racing?

if only they would do a steel tooth differential gear, everything would be good.

b4 top shaft is steel

RR rc10gt idler is steel

just need a steel differential gear and its ready for the big power.

on a side note, anybody done a direct cost look up. it seems to me buying the parts individually might be cheaper.

There is no need for steel gears. The transmission will stand up to any mod motor.

Yep. Kinwald was running a 7 turn at the Reedy Race.

Tim, THANK YOU AND ALL THE AE FOLKS!!!! I was excited to hear about the world's car but now the stealth parts with the upgraded topshaft. Perfect timing as I'm getting low (by my standards) on stealth stuff and continue to find cars. Two days ago I told my buddy I'm about to run out of complete trans for projects and thought I'd have to settle with some mock up stealths. Now I hope that price drops a little.

Oh and Tim, an affordable 64 pitch kit for the dirt oval guys would be awesome. Just saying.
