Really good job cleaning so far. 6 gear CE was my first Associated car I owned so it really brings back memories

So I get some rims and tires in today and it hits me. These are not the correct rear rims. According to the history thread the early CE came with what looks to be a 2 or 3 piece rim. The ones that I just got were one piece. Agh. Well they'll have to do until I get around to looking for the correct ones.

Just drill holes in the rims and put some screws in place  That's what I did when I was a kid

Slapped it together so I could get it back on the shelf and free up my counter. I just screwed up the threads on a rear shock so for now, I'll have to rock no oil in the rears. I'll have to clean up another set later. Also need to order a Protech body and get the correct rims on the rear. I went ahead and put the electronics that it came with. I haven't bothered to even research if it's period correct but oh well.
