Such a cool piece of history. That was also a pricy little buggy BITD and it's great that you've been able to keep it all these years. Racing in the 80's was cool. So many different buggies competing on one track. Once the rc10 came out it was all over.

Sweet car. It would be fun to watch that thing in action.

I live in Oregon city by the hospital. Do you go down to the meldrum bar rc track? I've ran into another guy there runs a couple old rc10's. I ran my Kyosho Raider there several times. It's a pretty fun track that is pretty forgiving too the older buggy's.

I just ordered my daughter a Tamiya Rising storm from Tower hobbies last night for her Christmas present. My son has a slash to run. You should meet us there sometime. It's a blast driving the old vehicles down there. I have my raider and after Christmas I'll get my daughters Ultima II and sons Outrage going as well.

That would be cool. I will have to get some of my runners back together.

Wow, that's an amazing time capsule. I'd love to have something like that.

Yeah for sure. Before next summer I will have mt Traxxas rad2, Kyosho Raider, and the kids Ultimas & outlaws. I have a couple friends that race at a fellow racers track in St Helens. He runs a vintage 10T.Vintagemishal wrote:That would be cool. I will have to get some of my runners back together.

Same story in 1/8th rallycross. When the Burns came out all the really varied older designs could not compete, so died off.

First of all, very cool build! I miss the old school off roaders!
Agreed, and too bad. I had a Kyosho Vanning and Mint Las Vegas that were so much fun to drive and mod. Then the Burns came out and did to 1/8th off road what the RC10 did to 1/10th scale. Changed the entire industry....Then of course, I had to have a Burns!kink wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2013 5:04 pmshodog wrote:Such a cool piece of history.
