That's the same basic way I run my pin router, "one off" stuff gets double sided tape, repetitious work gets screws turned down into pegs

Very cool setup. I need something like that....one day!

I drill and tap the aluminum block first. Then I clamp the material to the aluminum block and drill the holes. I then run the screws thru the holes in the material into the tapped holes in the fixture. This allows me to run the contour with no clamps in the way. Now you all know my secret LOL.
I'm gonna try that next time I'm doing something for which such a procedure would work. Much easier that constantly removing the piece from the vice and trying to get it squared up again and again.

Sweet ride, I love the milled motor plate. Is there anyone on the forum that mills motor plates on the side for other members?
