Thanks, yes I want to use modern hex wheels: HPI american racing wheels.
Here is the front end rebuilded with SC10 axles.
And the rear, I've just received a new rear anti roll bar, but I havent had the time to mount it yet, still haven't decided what shocks I will get. I will try polished old .56 to see if it looks good.

Thanks guys.
I've tested several colors, black, orange, hard coated, and my final choice is polished. I think it looks very nice with the carbon.
What do you think ?
The rear, next I will rebuildt the tranny with ball bearigs, the DS had bushing.

The re-use of the old chassis, specifically in the front is awesome. I was planning on using 10T standoffs if/when I went ot a carbon chassis, but now I will cut up a chassis that was about to hit the bin.

You took that tired old machine and turned into one of the nicest ds's that I have seen. Excellent work!
Did you have to do any mods to the sc10 parts to make them work?

I'm not that good with DS's, but should that rear inner hinge pin be that long, or is it just missing a bushing.

You need to drill the SC10 C hub as RC10DS hinge pin are bigger than B4's.
For the rear inner hinge pin, I don't know, I'll check the manual on associated website.

suppose to be shorter hingepin there he probably didnt have it and used that one.But a black spacer would go unnoticed in the front i bet.don

Early rc10 had the longer 6380 inner hinge pins, later they went to the shorter 7356 truck pins. The DS called for the shorter which are still easy to find.
