I actually owned a W8 engine VW Passat back in the day. In NO WAY would I tell my friends my car had half a Bugatti engine :lol:

Yes the company is owned by VW. It may have been designed by VW staff. But it does not share a single part with any other VW. Therefore it is not simply "just a VW".

This is well worth watching, to show just how much technology goes into making the LFA. Of course some will say it is just a Toyota :lol:

Another interesting thing on the LP 700-4 which I have never seen on any car was the Chinese (?) language writen on the rear deck lid. Not being versed in Chinese, I suspect it warned the owner that certain components got very hot under the lid. Makes sense as I suspect the majority of their cars get exported to China.

Yep, China is one of their biggest markets now, if not the biggest.

Large population with a growing consumer base (at times by force) ya = the place to be as far as sales.
