You were supposed to trim it back to fit the outline of your body. Back then a lot of cars had a large front bumper as standard.

Could do with some more bumper in my opinion looks very unprotected at the front.

It was sold with a Porsche 911 body that is missing for my car.
It was a competition car but I don´t know if it won anything.
I have a Jomac Lightning 2000 to but it´s very modified an very worn.

I used to have about half a JoMac Lightning 2000, it came in this lot I found on ebay one day...
http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=54144&sid=154... but I have sent it on to a much better place over in the UK (to an expert on all things RC...). I still have a lot of the parts included (NOT the RCH parts!), including the motors, bumper, and driver figures etc. I still have all the Jerobee and JoMac paperwork too.... might have to fire up the scanner one day.....

Whoa a Sping! I never thought I'd see one of those again. They were

I thought you might like to see the Lightning upclose.

As I said it´s very worn, the chassi, servotray and bumper is later made from lexan and the front axle is divided in to two parts.
The front wheels are really wobbly but the car is still
really fast for its age

Parma motor scan (well, a photo anyway) is now in the Scan Archive....
For anyone interested in the Lightning, I have two 4-page JoMac / Jerobee catalogues to get scanned today as well...
