I don't have money shots of Barney yet, still a few wrinkles to iron out...but CYANide would otherwise be my best accomplishment and biggest challenge to build. Turning an Optima into a properly, logically engineered road car was a lot more involved than I thought when I first got the idea...
Completed projects: CYANide Onroad Optima | Zebra Gold Optima | Barney Optima | OptiMutt RWD Mid

I too think its cool to be part of something like this, we all have this love for vintage R/C's and its nice to have a outlet such as this to share them on.huminski wrote:That's basically all I needed to say. Great collection of rare, like minded folks sharing something unique and pretty damn special, a true passion. These dumb old toy cars were, and still are, a big and important part of a lot of our lives, and through us and this site their magic lives on.
That is all.
To make this thread worthwhile, please post the best photo of your most prized vintage RC vehicle. Just one.
God bless us all, each and every one of us.
I'll include a pic of my Midnight Pumpkin...I bought this kit new and it still has the parma body on it I painted up back when Beavis and Butthead came out. Of all my cars I always smile the most running this thing around

Oh and Coelacanth...CYANide is sweeeeeet!

Back at again because of a phone call..."Hey, how do you adjust those old Novaks?"
I have a RC channel on YouTube too...take a look at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuAS9eDBj_wSIyl4JakUIzA Thanks

This is one of my favorite builds of an old original Clod painted up in an early MT Excaliber paint scheme.
Also, between Clodtalk and here, these are absolutely my two favorite RC forums hands down on the web and I visit them both daily!!

That Clod looks great fun in the snow! I owned one for a little while back in the day.
