I've got what appears to be a late CE with just black worlds arms and black rear hub carriers but everything else is white including a white worlds bulkhead. It even has the gold worlds style nose. I didn't build it from the kit but it was a pretty lightly run car when I got it and didn't appear to have ever been apart.

Is it a C stamp, I'm starting to really understand now, that anything is in fact possible, as long as the parts are close to the change over periods.

It is a C stamp chassis.

Really, if it is all original, I thought it should have been all black. you have probably have one of the first C stamps

I'm not 100% sure that it's original but it sure seemed like it when I was taking it apart.

trucks had that too...... c stamp, worlds bulkhead, black arms (i had one i converted to an "old is new" buggy). i just don't know about it on a "tub team car". my gut is telling this is just a bunch of random parts thrown together.

a CE, totally different story......

Did they quit making the team car when the worlds car was released?

I think they had one last blast of all black parts, then that was it.

So to play it safe for my team....B stamp, standard nose, eared rear bulk head, all white parts? All I want is a correct example, I have all the parts to go either way.

Yup! Team tub type car was dicontinued right after the Worlds Car! However the Team Graphite car continued!

Sorry to say! :| I think this build is just a fantasy car!

right away? i'm pretty sure that would be no. only because i have a paper showing all three available at the same time. but i'm also pretty sure that the "graphite" team car was around longer than the "tub" team. and i can honestly say i've only see 2 of those (graphites) that i would be willing to say came that way out of the box. they both had the "worlds" shaped chassis too, so that shows how close to the end of the "team car" run those were.

hey, i could be wrong. wouldn't be the first time. but if it were me, i wouldn't be building the car like until i had concrete proof...... which i don't believe anyone has shown.

B stamp , all standard white parts, with standard kick up, sounds correct, Would anyone agree. Can I still use my 73/23 tire combo, viper shell.

A good case in point! Right now I can buy a B4.1FT, B4.1 Worlds and a B4.2FT. AE is not making the B4.1 cars, but there is old stock that needs to be sold! This was the case as soon as the Worlds car came out, Team (pan) Car production stopped because AE knew no would want it! Just like the B4.1 now!

I also agree that probably no more tub team car kits were produced after the world's car came in and that AE sold the old stock only for a short period of time afterwards, although they continued to assemble CE ones with all sorts of variations as an entry car kit, and the graphite kit (with the special chassis or not and probably with some variations as well) was also still available until they passed on to the B2.

As Shepard Smith says.... then there's this before we wrap it up.

This is why when I'm not 100% sure on something I always say I could be wrong. Read the team car ad.

I still don't remember seeing a tub car that way though....
