i ran into that problem the first time i did a diff/trans rebuild on a duratrax evader
what i had done wrong was install the entire diff assembly reverse
I.E the left out drive was on the right
the car ran fine but after a bit the diff would start slipping
what was happening was as i ran the car the rotation or the diff was loosening the diff screw
may or may not be your problembut its a thought

oh ya I did not even think about that. i could definatly take a look at that tonight when i get home and can check in the manuel. im about to order all the diff components from the thunder tiger phoenix xb, i figure since they come brushless maybe it will hold better because i have had nothing but problems since i went brushless and it has the black nylon idler gear in it not the white one that comes with it
