Its cool to have that body. I remember it saying in the article that he screwed the paint up on the sidewinder, so he ran to the lhs and grabbed that body off the hook to do the shoot.
Could've made a replica of the mag car too. Tekin esc, paragon stock motor.....

That's KILLER that you got THAT body to go with it. That mag is the one that got me started...January '90. I loved the photo spread of the TQ10 review...

When you've already got the exact perfect body it'd be criminal not to do a replica of the RCCA TQ10.
OPTIONS AS TESTED:
Paragon Racing Stock motor; Tekin ESC
300 PT electronic speed controller; Progressive
Technologies 6-cell Sanyo SCR packs;
Futaba Magnum Jr. 2-channel radio; Thorp
turnbuckle linkage; Parma differential dust
cover.

This is probably a stupid question but what does TQ stand for?

Funny story about that body. I found a guy on Craigslist about 3 years ago who had rc parts listed for sale. No pictures just stated "old rc parts". I called and to be honest it sounded real shady, but decided to take the ride. Glad I did as he had lot's of cool parts from a shop he owned in the 80's. Strange dude that made me nervous being there

. He was also a collector of old r/c , mostly airplanes, and converted his garage into a makeshift hobby shop with pegboards, dispaly cases , the whole thing. He had this red body plus I also scored a blue Heathen body along with other various cool parts that went from his pegboard to mine
Thanks for the comments on this! I have the body cut out and just need to set the decals. Be back later on with some pics.

I wrapped this up this afternoon and loved how it turned out! The wing wire is a stock AE wire but looks different from the mag pics. I don't know what wing wire they used , possibly a Buds wire but mine still looks cool I think. I hope to build a graphite chassis in the future and use the blue heathen body. Thanks again for the comments and enjoy the pics!
