We're competitive? At least we don't kill football referee's for bad calls
We might pop a cap in someone for their Nike's but we would never harm a game official.

Wasn't that a Columbian betting cartel which did that? I think they also shot the goalie who let in the penalty (the awarding of which got the ref. shot) In which case they are American, South American to be precise...
Oh and here is a bbc report of a South African referee who evened up the score;

P.S. Thanks for not calling it soccer

Well I believe mrlexan called me a B&tch and tried to cover it up as sarcasm when it came out to me as flaming, which I thought made him sound a little queer

Yeah, that is what I was talking about. That's nuts. We do some stupid stuff here when it comes to sports (most of it alcohol induced) but I guess we don't take sports as seriously as other countries do. NP on the soccer thing. It is and always will be football. Our version of football is basically overpaid, overdrugged thugs beating the crap out of each other to cover a points spread
And I am sure Jay was just having fun with ya. Most Americans will only pick on you if we like you.

Neither do I, but those are just our opinions...... I don't have much respect for it, but I do respect for the business that it has created for itself, just like most of the large corps in the US, they have grown too big for their britches.
And I will say this, at least from a Road Course perspective, driving a course at speed will wear you out and you have to be in good shape especially if you are in a closed cockpit car (like the C5-R) running for 12 hours in the Florida sun at Sebring with little to no airflow.

I was cracking on Nascar. I do give the drivers props. I am sure it is not an easy thing to do or everyone would be a racer. I don't car for Nascar but I love a good road race. My heart is in SBK. Those guys rock.

I think pic says it all.
I love bustedtees.com
And, I do enjoy the NFL. 1-0 premier leauge games are not what I think of as exciting. Which is kinda contradictory since I like baseball too.

LOL on the nascar stuff guys! That's why the safest way to be involved with it at all is to watch it at home on the tube anticipating a crazy crash. Better yet, save yourself four hours and just wait for the news channels to show the highlight sports clips later........
