Well, I finally got it apart and got all the various adhesives and grime off the chassis plate. It appears that the holes that were used to fasten the nerf wings we added by a previous owner. Also the chassis does seem to have been cut down in the front, but whoever did it did a real nice job. I really had to look closely to be able to tell.

Overall I think it's in really nice shape for being used and probably 25 years old.

Almost a month later and I've finally got everything cleaned up and have begun reassembly. I've picked up a few parts along the way including some Andy's front arms that are in decent shape.

I told you I was slow.

Still not sure what I'm going to do with this thing. Maybe keep it, maybe not! Who knows...

The guy ran it around in his yard and didn't break those trailing arms? Lucky! I remember with the one I had bitd, before every race I would say "Please don't break" For me they usually broke landing perfectly off a jump... Or pressing the throttle to go down the straight. Hardly ever broke in a crash. Ahh the memories of going to the LHS and buying traditional rears arms and hubs and looking like this before, during and after a race ~> :D and not like this before ~> :| During ~>  After ~>  a race.

Houge was always awesome though. I would just send them broken parts and they would replace them for free.

I loved the car. Unfortunately I didn't have that luck with mine. Everytime it broke a friend of mine would tell me to go into the shop and buy regular arms. Maybe it was the dry climate in Albuquerque? LOL.

Well I had finally gotten this thing back together and then I kinda lost interest. Too many other R/C projects going on I guess. Anyway here are some pics of it together. I'm gonna go ahead and post it up in the classifieds and hopefully find a good home for her. Enjoy.
