I think the hardest part of this build will be finding those Losi Sprint rear tires... Or maybe not. I am being lame in posting pics these days, but I'm doing two different B3's and two different T3's... Both 1st gen and 2nd gen FT, all carbon. Going slowly, but all the parts are here. Took a few auction buys to get all the blue ano'd chassis plates. I plan on doing a '99 Masami WC chassis replica which fortunately does not use any of the blue anodised stuff.

This helps a lot with the detail in the flames. Many many thanks Dave. It was well worth the effort to get the exta photos and you'll be happier with the body once it's done Rod.

I'm probably going to lay down the paint on this one today. It's hard to tell, but is it pink or red on the wing and nose of the car?
Rod, if no one replies I will just paint those sections brown or something

Use my special FL Red and fade. Back with white, the fade should turn pink. If not just fade a touch of pink. Practice on some scrap first. Looking at the Gene Husting's videos, Masami's cars all look like bright colours, so use florescent and neon colours with very light fades! I would practice colours on scrap. Remember, they don't need to be exact but should be recognized as Masami's car at a quick glance.

I don't come into this section much because I can't paint (so I contract that out, lol) but wow this is a great thread with some cool pics. I might be biased because I like the B3 so much!

Please do!
I acquired a B3 recently and wanted to do a similar paint scheme on it as well...

I am planning on building a B3 new from the ground up, and this body was something i was thinking about.I can paint pretty good but this is a little harder, better use an airbrush.I figured if i buy all the parts a little at the time it wont be too bad.Not sure when i will start just picked up a nib chassis short version
