I think they realized early on that people are not going to watch that show if it is all excellent singers all the time. they have to mix some stupidity in there of it will flop. I'll be honest with you, I watched a little Idol

and the best shows were the ones where Simon is tearing someone a new one or some idiot like Will Hung gets up there and expects people to take him seriously. It is all a staged performance and I think it almost back fired on them last season when that one kid (can't remember his name) got way up there and the ranks and he sucked. He is the one that Simon said if that kid won, he would not be back. Why did he make it to the top 16 then. They could have booted him long before then. OK, I gotta stop. My blood pressure is started to climb

A show that I really
want to like is Last Comic standing. Like everything else, however, the drama is more important that substance, and it's more important that the viewers be beaten about the head and shoulders by the corporate sponsors than spending the time with the comedians.
The "dumbing down" of the viewer just gets a little tiresome regardless of the program being watched.
I think you're right, we need to change the subject!
We were talking about camel toes, right?
Come on, you perv's!!

As if yesterday morning was bazaar enough, the evening got even more interesting. I almost got to see my wife in a fight. I bet she could scrap good too. She ain't no light weight.
We were heading out to the store to pick up some groceries and pass by several large farms on the way. Now, my wife is blond, blue-eyed, and very strong willed. She hates stereotypes of women and it irks her when she witnesses things that fuel them.
Back to the story. We are about 6 miles from the house and pass by this farm and about 70 feet off the road, in the middle of this corn field, there is a blond headed girl in a canoe paddling. I did not notice as I was driving, but my wife did. She goes ballistic. She starts yelling for me to turn around and yelling "did you see that" over and over.
I don't know what to expect. I thought a baby deer got hit by a car or something. So I turn around and she's yelling "pull over here, right here". So I pull over and she jumps out of the car.
Then I see the blond in the field in the boat and I thought "oh boy, here we go" cause I knew what she was going to do. She starts yelling at the girl "What is wrong with you? This is why people say we blonds are stupid because blonds like you do stupid things." The girl in the canoe tells her to leave her alone so my wife turns and gets back in the car.
Now, being the type of person that always has to get the last word, she rolls down the window as I am pulling out and yells out to the girl, "You better be glad I can't swim or I'd come out there and hurt you."

What truly makes that funny is that she's actually a librarian! 20 years in the public system, now works for the state system.

The girlfriend was at Starbuck's the other day and noticed there was a "peel and win" sticker on her coffee cup. She peels it off and starts screaming, "I've won a motorhome! I've won a motorhome!"
The waitress says, "That's impossible. The biggest prize is a free Lunch."
But my girlfriend kept on screaming, "I've won a motorhome! I've won a motorhome!"
Finally , the manager comes over and says, "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but you're mistaken. You couldn't have possibly won a motorhome because we didn't have that as a prize.
The girlfriend says, "No, it's not a mistake. I've won a motorhome!"
And she hands the ticket to the manager and HE reads...
W I N A B A G E L
