no sorry i don't. they're still available at associated's site rc10.com. don't forget the rear spoiler for the body as well.

looks like you almost have everything stocked. you could still find a t2 tub and nose plate on ebay. they pop up every now and then for good prices. other than that, you'll just need a few more parts to complete your t2.

Yes, the car is almost complete... I just bought a brand new RPM gear cover...don't want to talk about the price lol also a used but in great condition complete transmission with slipper and motor mount. Tomorrow I will bring the chassis, nose plate and motor guard to a powder coater

nice another t2 powder coated. i bought one powder coated red. make sure you watch the areas around the transmission, bulkhead, and rear motor guard aren't coated too thick. you could end up shaving away those areas, which will ugly up your t2.

I have a second chassis. If the result is good, I'll let this powder coating and build up a runner T2 with some T4 updates (shocks, turnbuckles...) One by one, first I have to finish the shelf T2

The chassis now looks like this:



There was no problem to find someone who is familiar with powder coating, but the parts had to be sandblasted first. Tomorrow I finally bring the parts to the powder coating

I'm using MIP RC10GT ballbearing bellcranks. They work really well, they have no servo saver, so I added one at the horn. Very happy with the setup.

what color you going with?

Nice build so far... I think the T2 chassis was hard anodized from the factory...

yeah, the original was annodized. you going with a glossy black or a flat black?

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I got the powder coated parts back. Here you can see the results ... I must say that I am very pleased with the results although there is a difference from anodized chassis, I think it's not tragic.

I also got some parts, direct from the USA, as for example the suspension mounts and gear cover (THX Rob )

On the first picture you can see the difference between the old andonized chassis (left) and "new" powder coated one...









Unfortunately, you can still see some signs of use (scratches).





I am waiting now for some parts, then finally we can start with the assembly

Looking good! I wonder if using a filler on the deeper scratches would have any adverse affects to the powder coating process as a whole?

After powder coating, do the screws still fasten flush with the pan? Is the powder coating thick enough to make a difference?

quik, there's a probably a good chance he'll break out the countersink drill bit. i had to do it on the chassis i got. no big deal. if not the screws heads look out of place hanging down on the chassis.

I have just compared with a screw on both chassis (old and new one) and it looked pretty similar. But I will confirm as soon as I build on the chassis again.

Today I have disassembled the shocks, cleaned them and renew the seal package and the shock rod ends.

This stuff works great touching up black anodizing. You might be able to find it at some sporting good stores but usually be at a firearms retailer.
