got the car today which is a true 9000 kit so it has the universals and hard ano shocks and other bits that make it a 9000 car. it has one b3 arm on the right side....looks like it was a quicky replacement and the tires are very worn. the body where a failed kinwald style drip paint job was started looks like some sort of "splatter/slinging" pattern was used and then a candy blue was painted over....either way its flaking off and was done very poorly so if i had the patience i could probably flake it out and just mask off the windows and shoot a solid one color job and religate the body to "basher" usage. im gonna break the whole car down to "kit" form and soak and clean everything and reassemble it and either upgrade or replace as i go. im gonna have to source a set of original nip tires or tirs that will fit the b2 wheels but i will run this buggy on occasion at local club races.....not gonna just let it look nice on a shelf all the time. ill post up some pics tomorrow afternoon of what it looks like since the pics from the ebay ad where very limited and not very close up.
do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?
