I think it is best if the batt is center like I have put here some pics of. Then I have to put the servo on the otherside but thats no problem. I`ll put an low profile servo in it.

Looks good Jerzi! Was it good weather today? :)

The easiest battery solution must be to use saddle packs. As you made the chassis kind of wide they will easily fit. Just place them as close as possible to the belt on each side. Sure, if you manage to fit the shorty pack it would be a much more unique solution.

Did you see the body I painted for my carbon mid? It now looks like I am racing for Finland!

Now I'm little confused here. The short batt will fit under the upperplate very nice and then the batt will be in the middle of the car.
Have to see tomorrow how it will end. No saddle packs for me.
Yes is saw the body very nice indeed.

Sweeet, have not seen anyone doing this before. This shows that is possible to build a very slim LWB. Like a modern Losi 22.

Cheers

Oooops, my bad. I thought your car was an LWB from start since you had that wide chassis in the first post. Then I like this project even more :D

About moving the shocks to the rear: I would be cool to craft a CF part that is both a shock tower and a turnbuckle rear plate if you know what I mean? I may actually do it just because it is possible.

No that chassis is something very wrong to this car.
Yes I`ll make an rear shockstay also to this car just to see if it is better.
I know that you have more grip in the rear when the shocks are in the back of the car.
I hope this will be ready today.
It takes long because I dont have anything to go from and I havent seen anything like this project in the web.

just be careful with the battery leads near the exposed carbon edges. It's conductive!!
