Thanks Jerzi and Kyosho fan 2. I've been trying to do a resto on a turbo optima. The parts I'am missing just aren't showing up on eBay for close to 3 months. So I think I want to use modern parts like graphite and zx5 parts. Both of my shock towers are bent. I can find them on eBay, but I had to get zx5 c hubs , knuckles and suspension arms. Which leads to cv's and wheels from the lazer. Anyway I think doing the grafhite like your doing would work with a resto mod theme.

I got an idea. Ask Mr transamman908 he has a lot of Kyosho Parts. He is on our forum. I buy from him he is very nice.

You gave me the idea and have had fibrelyte make me a motor plate but with the slots built into the design so have fitted to my carbon fibre rear gearbox and looks stunning. I know when you have finished yours will look sweet. Keep up the good work.
