Good point! I'd prefer the $2.00 whore over a princess! My thinking is the "princess" would be gently rode... um driven!

i say shelf it or at least shelf the chassis, nose plate ,and body.. it looks to be a bushing model so if it was mine id leave as is and shelf it.i have a beater rc10t i run. if you dont have a beater rc10t and you want to run it at least buy a cheap beater chassis off ebay and save that chassis..

1. run it like the $2 whore...err princess scr8p mentioned.

2. don't be so synical.

3. doesn't need to be turned into a debate about ethics...as Reggie stated...your reply hit all the points we like to see (and I agree this is as much your board as anyone elses).

4. :P

5. :D

6.

7. looks good. I don't put toys on a shelf. I play with them so that is my reasoning behind my answer. Most of mine reside on shelves but they have dirt hanging under them  .

8. good point about maybe keeping a few of the pieces that are harder to come by putting them away for 'dress up'.

9. did I mention I'm on pain killers

10. 8)

please explain to me how im being cynical
about a blatant undeserved accusation
scr8p wrote:so what is a "princess" when it comes to r/c cars? does it mean to use it up like a $2.00 whore?
thats the ticket

I think Paul meant it as a joke- given how much we have gotten that with newb's this summer. Or at least that's my take given Paul's time and posting style on the board- If I'm incorrect he'll mention it- He does reside in the land of gummy fish, but is trilingual and pretty well adapted to the cultures of which he can communicate in.

I do however like your response in defense of your thread, mostly because you hit on all of the key reasons we all come here more than most places, and appreciate the cars, styles, history or whatever does it for you about these things. It was genuine and not
just an "I'll drive half way around the world to..." kind of a thing. Thank you-

Do me a favor before Paul clears this up- don't for a minute not participate in anything here if someone doesn't agree with how you go about enjoying this vintage hobby (not knocking Paul, just an chance to make a point) It's your's just as much as it is anyones-
i appreciate your response, maybe this seems to have gotten blown out of proportion
but i just do not accept getting accused of something that i have not done, here, work, home, life, anywhere
i will defend my self.
and dont worry reggie i love these lil cars way to much
participation will not stop
shoot ive found 3 more cars since this thread
farmer
my spelling not so good! but i can DRIVE the wheels off anything!

Yes. You did. There was nothing aimed at you so get off it...didn't you see my smileys  . Get back to the truck. No need to defend youself against something that wasn't there or aimed at you. Like Reggie said...

Bingo...but I digress... Its not abuse unless its reported

Now back to the regularly scheduled programming. Personally I'd box the body, body mounts and tires for 'dressup' and stick an ezrun 65amp in it and run the snot outta it.

OR,

if money isn't an option for you then stick it on shelf and pick up another one and do that. I'm a collector at heart but I'm just a 43 year old kid that doesn't have the money or the need to buy one to look at and one to run. I can look at the one I run  . Doesn't mean I don't have way too many though

Could prove difficult, RC10s have the notorious reputation of being VERY full of snot.....
