Re: B/S/T approval
i don't know if you tried again, but i haven't received anything. you must be doing something wrong somewhere.
once on ebay, highlight "community" at the top of the page and click on "groups" in the drop down box. next page, click on "profile" in the left hand column. next page, type in my ebay i.d.(55chevcars) in the "find a member" box. next page, when my profile comes up, click on my name. next page, click on "send a message" above my profile pic.
but at this point, you've already been a member for a few months so it really doesn't matter.

Re: B/S/T approval
Well, last weeks I sent to the wrong ID, so I understand why that did not work. IDK whats wrong this morning. I just followed your directions exactly, and I can't see it did anything different than what I did earlier this morning.
Here the e-mail (actually eBay message) I sent earlier:
Email reference id: [#a03-qzinjbo0ee#]_[#4a4efab3f87848afba027f2c4a438a21#]
Dear 55chevcars,
Hi scr8p,
Here is the message I sent last Friday, but sent to the wrong ID, chevycars55.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear 55chevycars,
== How to Get Access to the Buy/Sell Area ==
Hi, I am trying to contact rc10talk site member scr8p to request access to the Buy/Sell area on RC10TALK.COM.
My id there is CBR240. I joined Jan 2nd of this year. It has taken me that long to get 25 posts as I have been away from RC for many years, therefore don't have much to contribute.
I've tried to make only meaningful post, but regretfully I have asked some stupid questions. "Learning all the time".
Thanks,
Chris
BTW - the one decent thread I made is here:
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=29889
I think it was decent, but has gotten sort of convoluted as I started off showing my original RC10 I bought in 1990, then became the start of a build thread for my "daily driver".
Do you think I should split that thread into two threads?:
1) Hi and this is my Original RC10 CE
2) Build thread for daily driver.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
eBay put the "Dear 55chevcars", so I assume that's where it went. Isn't that correct, "55chevcars"?
On this 2nd one I tried today (just recently) following your excellent directions exactly, I've yet to see that show up in my eBay sent items. maybe eBay messaging knows how I feel about it, so it hates me in return

Re: B/S/T approval
Well the 2nd message I sent today by eBay, never even showed up in my eBay sent items????
So I sent a 3rd one, by find member, then contact member, that one did show up in my eBay sent mail folder, and did forward to my real e-mail. So maybe you might get that one. I don't know what else to try.
Oh well, will probably save me cash in the long run.

Re: B/S/T approval
I'm a little confused.
If I don't have an ebay account, do I still need to be 16?
