Yes, The are the Big Pressure Shocks. I think they would be good all the way around (limiters in the rear though). They are a 3mm shaft size, so many suitable replacemets could be found. I just measured the rears and with cap on the body, top of cap to bottom of body length is only 2.5 inches. About the same as the std long gold rear RC10 (I think). -Jeff

2.5" is roughly only 3/16" longer than a 1.32" body so it's certainly an option if I can't find anything shorter. Do you happen to know if the Landmax used the same shocks as the Burns?
I'm going to need to go through the RCCA scans again and try to find more info on the old OFNA/HoBao cars. The Pirate RS I know was using threaded big bores back in '93 but I don't know the sizes and Google is only giving me hits from their modern cars.

you could contact ofna directly. i'm pretty sure they have that info.
