Re: FARMERS RCX EXPERIENCE LOTS OF PIC LET IT LOAD
btw "so if you know his name please insert thx" the person who is creating the RC Museum and displayed the fruits of his labors at this RCX show is Romulus. He is an amazing guy and you saw all the greats came to see his display and visit with him, awesome that someone is trying to preserve the early RC history while the people who lived it are still here to see it and help in its creation.

Not sure what you mean by "what's up with the shocks" .
The shocks have internal springs that's all. I wanted a super clean look throughout and that's simply an element of the design.

Re: FARMERS RCX EXPERIENCE LOTS OF PIC LET IT LOAD
The shocks are standard issue RC10 that were painted & clear coated. The caps are the bleeder type from Associated that racers use on their SC10's, B4.1s etc. The shock shafts are from the Thunder Tiger Phoenix buggy (basically a B3). The springs inside the bodies are from the LOSI Mini T. Even though it could be run, it was meant to be a shelf queen so I didn't put any shock oil in them so that's why it is springy with no dampening. I had my friend at custom Metal Works build that TEKIN stand for it.
There's over a year and a half of working on that buggy on and off. It was my gift to TEKIN for all their support when we first opened the shop in 2009.
It's all good Farmer. I don't think you were disparaging the car. I posted my reply using my phone so I just typed that up really fast .

This motor....

Is a brand new Kyosho LeMans Pro High Speed. Originally I wasn't going to leave that motor in there but it looked great mounted up and just seemed to be appropriate for the car.... everything else on the car was top shelf so the motor should be too I thought.

Absolutely top shelf! Cool idea with the internal springs.
