it was horrible. I was out sick for 2 days, barely able to walk cuz it sapped my energy so bad. Lots of vomiting and dry heaves too lol.
Needless to say, i saw the entire season of Surface laying there dead on the couch. I want that show to be brought back now

Surface was one of the many shows filmed here where I live. Lots of people here were upset that it was canceled. The college where I work had a huge hand in the production and filming of the show. Our docks are in several episodes.
Here is a list of just Southport for those who are bored or sick and want to learn a little bit about where I live.

Wilmington is getting huge in movie and Screen Jems is putting out some pretty good stuff. Too bad the only real support around here for money in the foods and service industry. But we do have really fresh seafood

I actually liked that show, my wife got me into it. Besides that Dr. Chick was Smokin!

lol, i'll be ok. the appendix has already left the hoopty.
the worst part for me is being away from work. my timelines/deadlines are just getting shorter and shorter which means i'll have to work harder and longer when i get back...
i've been thinking lately about making life a little more simple by moving back to the country somewhere and not being a slave to a career. the only problem with that is i'd be leaving a rather nice steady paycheck and nice benefits as well...

Dude, if there is one thing that I have learned after my move, money ain't everything. The good thing, I guess is at least I moved from an area with 10 million people to an area with 600,000 people and I am making more money and not as stressed out. The only thing now, is I am questioning my existence with what I am doing now. I guess I am just never happy.

i hear that dude. before i jumped into this grownup career thing i was flat broke but pretty much in a good mood all the time and happy with what i had. life was pretty free and easy... nowadays i just freak out all the time over work and just dont find the time to just go out and enjoy life... not to mention i work with people who dedicate thier lives to the job. its hard to compete with those types...
double edged sword i tell ya. either get a stressfull job that gives you money to buy stuff but no time to enjoy it OR have all the time in the world with no money to buy stuff...
although i think i got enough 'stuff' now to where i could pretty much just sell some here and there and buy other stuff without really losing any stuff.
