I used the VTS slipper set-up in the kit.

There's a standard slipper, and the VTS slipper option.

Oh, she's rolling now Sonic  Just waiting on the ESC & Motor. Next step will be to put it on the set-up board once everything is in it and go break it in at the track. 8)

This is as shiny as it'll ever be :?

Reminds me of the instructional DVD I gave my wife on our first date. She gave me the strangest look. I said "What?? Am I being too forward?"

Looks great! I know how you feel about taking a cherry chassis to the track. Especially outside. I have to tear down my rc10t everytime I run it outside. I know its made for outdoor use, but I just feel the need to thoroughly clean it afterwards. And check for any unseen damage.

lol, yep, part of my OCD I guess. We kept reading on RCTech about all the whining & crying about electronics not fitting correctly. It was an easy solution. Most I guess have high standards when they get it out of the box and don't want to "tinker" with it. :?
Modifying is my favorite part. It makes your "ride" unique to you.

You'll do some mods fo' sure. Imtimadating at first working on it but after you take it apart a half dozen times in less than 2 months getting it dialed you'll be happy. A little 1/4" electric driver makes a world of difference just stop short and hand the screws the rest of the way in.

They don't break !! Trust me I know. Just put a aluminum servo arm before running..not a cheap one either

Oh yeah make sure your diffs are shimmed correctly and limit your up travel on your shocks

Sooooo sweeeeet.

I had to examine every pic. congrats on your new toy and yea modification makes things so much better.
The old saying "thats how it's always been done" is a challenge to me to do it better.
keep the pics. coming and try to keep that grin down when your getting some air at the track.
