How difficult is it to fit the rc4wd tracks to the RC10 rear axle? Does it work the motor very hard with the stock gearing to run them?

Looks awesome! I used to run one of these kits back in the early to mid 90's during the winters. The anti-rotation posts are the first things to go. Don't expect to leave the ground too much with them but they are still a lot of fun for something different. Theres also a company that now make a modern version!

Heres the other thread about this kit: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=21245

Found this link. Probably too big for an rc10 but maybe there are other mfg's out there as well.

It's good to have it in both locations. That was also the only place I found that made modern ski kits.

That's wicked! I bet some waterproof traxxas electronics would be good in there. A "waterproof" brushless esc combe and steering sevo.

Looks like Integy makes some snow accessories as well. If you scroll down the link they have skiis.

Looking at the birthday list for today led me to this topic. This is a very cool build! The link to the Integy track drive conversions is still valid and seems like it it's worth digging through for a best option for the RC10. Maybe rear tracks for a Bandit could be adapted? 1/10 2wd buggies struggle in grass with wheels, so maybe tracks would do better? 🤔😁
