I could change where the lines go up forward and aft if that will help. But this is the lowest hole on the side. :(

All you can do is clean up the last persons mess, trimming it low will look great it just becomes easier to bend. These chassis are already easy to bend so bracing will help

Instead of cutting the sides all the way down you could cut out the drilled holes with one or two nicer shaped oval holes. Kinda like this:

Phin, funny you said that cause I just logged on to see if this would be possibly better.

Now I wonder what I have laying around the house that I could use to make this happen. I guess a dremel with a ton of cut off wheels. I do have that. I think it'd be a little too small to break out my grinders.

I would make it two separate windows not just one big one, if it doesn't go well you can always cut out that rib and your back to one large window.

Better leave a post in the middle if you're gonna do that. Make 2 separate rectangles.

But the problem is whoever drilled the three holes in each side didn't even make an attempt to make them look uniform. That is the whole reasoning for cutting it in the first place.

Can you do something like this? Cut out two large boxes or ovals and one skinny one in the middle with spaces in between.

Already started cutting. lol. Oh well, if it's too weak, we'll make it a shelfer or throw it in the trash. Still have a lot of filing to do. But cutoff wheels worked good, only used two.
