Coming along nicely Don. 8) If you take a cell phone pic and email it to yourself then you can just save it and post it. I usually do that just so I don't have to get a usb cable out for my camera. Just send a picture message to your email by typing in the email address instead of the phone number.

That thing is begging to become a redneck limo. How do you plan the hide the transmissions under the bed?

I MAY BE making another body this one is a little crooked where plastic welded it together.Yea body work would hide it but id know it lol.

Once i took the rear body posts off and set it on chassis the rearest rearend is half inch or less out of line with this body.So more to come.DON

Looks really nice, what a beast! With a little of fabrication, you could also imagine a sprocket system linking the two top shafts and eliminate the need for a second motor. I'm sure it can be done with a few readily available McMaster parts and common tools. A belt would look really cool!

Thanks Rat.Cutting out the top plate now its 8th inch thick too so should make it real sturdy.IVE also put blue shocks on the frontend and new black ballcups too and i used a straight up style tower thats temp. to use as a template for an aluminum tower. Then got to drill top plate and flushmount the holes for standoffs mounting. Has sassy chassis bellcrank ball bearing steering too. Thanks to RC10JOHNNY for the 1/4inch rear hub bearings!!!!
I still need to cut off the rear bed and shorten it a half inch or less to look right with the space between the rears.Don

Any other mods or suggestion greatly accepted DON

I've sure never seen those dual rear wheels before. It may look better in person but I think the rear wheels should have been closer together. To me there is too much space between them and that also translates into the body not looking quite right. (at least to me)

You'll be amazed how a top plate that ties everything together really makes it strong with no flex. It also makes a nice spot to mount radio gear :)

Nice project overall

The rearend is narrower than it was intended since i used RC10ds REAR ARMS AND AXLES.The TMS kit used the rc10 buggy rear arms and that lexan body was made for that kit. This is a clodbuster body that was cut and plastic welded for a clod, then for a 6x6 xxt truck i built, then went this route..I aint done til its done lol.
Working on the aluminum and tryn to get dang motorplates deannodized.I got one set of 1/4 inch axles installed and playin with different possibilities.Been working on BIGJEEPS old annodized chassis since got it in mail .Just about done with it.Think i need find black servo mounts for it and be done with that one.DON
