That was exactly what I had but couldn't remember the manufacturer. It sure brings back some memories. :) The only other MCS product I've ever had was this unique motor heatsink: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?p=150920#p150920

robinson's is basically the same as the mcs unit. i hate using it. always getting blasted with spray. honestly it's faster to take the bearing apart and clean it that way.

Robinson Racing has the best company symbol in R/C I think. I love the flags. 8) If I have a choice between theirs and another product, I by theirs just for the decals.

I thought I've read on here before about Robinson Racing products generally being of poor quality? Maybe it was one specific product of theirs? I've personally never had any problems with their stuff before but I also haven't run much of it to really form an opinion.

no way. these guys are top notch in my book. really, i think, they were the first ones that i saw that were into custom making race parts in mass quantities. titanium this and that. aluminum slipper and diff hubs. and the spurs and pinions were always a plus when i went racing.

and yes their stickers were my favorite too. it's also prettty cool that they're a stones throw from where i live.

I bought all their steel stuff for my GT and it is very well made. I have a lot of their pinions and spurs also. They make a 35T 48p pinion too. Also they stamp the tooth count on their pinions. A very appreciated feature. I hate counting pinion teeth!

Well thats good to know. If I wasn't so lazy I would attempt to find the posts I remember reading that denounced their products. Like I said though, I've never had a problem with their parts before.

I just got finished counting a 48 pitch pinion gear. I marked one of the teeth with a sharpie and then counted with a toothpick.

I usually cover 3 teeth with a thumbnail and then count the rest. I was always too cheap/poor as a kid to buy a Paragon gear caddy. :P
