Sounds good. I also pulled all my junk out of the closet yesterday and found several new pieces including the slot-less spring retainers. I also found a new 1 hole shock tower and some long wing tubes. I want to use all new parts but I have a tower that is in great shape, just a little dirty. If I can clean it up, that will go on too.

I may do some more work on it this weekend. But this week is crazy here at the college. I'll be working 12 hour shifts to get all the classes audited so we can report the end of semester to the state auditor.

man, i was just gonna tell him to get rid of the "tamiya looking" servo saver.
I let that slide because I know the Kimbrough servo savers for the Novaks are getting really hard to find. 8)

This seller used to have 'em:

Maybe also try Kimbrough directly.

Do you know of the top of your head what spline the Novak would be? The ebay member you mentioned has a bunch with the 23/24/25 spline adapters. If it would fit, I'll order some today when I get a chance.

None of those fit the Novak. And Shodog brings up another good point. there were square (like early Futaba, or likely actually a Futaba output gear, used by Novak...) and splined. I believe the splined version is the same as Kraft or Orbit...like that really helps.

It is most definably splined. I'll keep my eyes open for something that will fit and if I get a chance, I'll count the splines this evening. Until then, ugly Kyosho looking saver it is

I think I may have one I'll check at home tonight. I'm pretty sure my lhs has a decent stock of these. I'll look next trip and can pick some up if they do.

Really nice work. Peroid correct is BORING!!! I'm just playin'. But, I usually walk a different path and to a different beat. Some things can be too extreme for me like whoever originally customized the technicolor vomit car. :D

Truth in jest Richie?

But you know what, I would rather build a custom machine than try to replicate one. They look great on the shelf, no doubt. But anyone can build a box art car.

It takes someone special to do Technicolor Vomit
