I'll post a few more pics soon. I'm doing a JRxPRO as well. Had these projects on the back burner for a while. I'll probably do box art bodies or different color variations of the box art. My friend just built up his Dukomo YZ10 and sparked my interest in vintage again.

All of the light color rimmed cars were the solid rear tower cars and I don't think they went too far into 89'. But Aaron, Brian or Anthony are better with Losi history.

I'm guessing within the first year of the Box Art packaging release. I believe the first JRx2 release had no picture. I remember buying my kit and having the lighter orange wheels, blank motor plate, and blank rear shock tower. My buddy purchased his kit a few months later with the new rear shock tower and the darker orange rims.

it doesn't have the aluminum spacers, but it has the topshaft with the brass gear.

The chassis material was different too. The newer kits had what resembled an oreo cookie. Also, the front bulkheads were already trimmed in the front to make room for the Top Mount Mini Bumper Kit. I remember having to trim my old front bulkhead.

The acetone didnt affect my Logo wheels; was this only an issue with the first gen lighter colored wheels or all of the 5 spokes?
