this I know, hence my question. Is tamiya releasing an rc bus? And I wonder if it will be an early split window, or bay window body.

Or, Type 2 is an inaccurate online translation, and refers to the chassis being 2wd.... so it's a VW 2wd on a wheelie chassis, same as the recent Pajero.... hello Monster Beetle 2!!!!

A Hotshot with gold wheels, and gold-ish shell.

Hmmm, perhaps there's a few different parts underneath.

I'll have one!!

Looks like they have mixed up the upcoming Hotshot Metallic Special and the Super Hotshot. The two have different order numbers, so aren't the same car.

Will be interesting to see if the LB Celica kept as a SWB - as they Re-Re'd the body a few years ago (I have a few). It certainly would not take much for Tamiya (with their prowess) to put short arms and a short chassis molding (and a shorter main drive-shaft) into a TL01 box!! ;)

Super Hotshot looks like just another "special" from that pic! Will be nice to have the Gold wheels available again though!! :)

Definately going to grab another XR311 - I only got one the first time - want a runner too!! :)

Good stuff.

Cheers
